Mental Health Awareness in the Workplace
In the UK, 1 in 4 people will experience a mental health problem at any point in time, including in the workplace. While mental health problems are common, most are mild, tend to be short- term and are normally successfully treated.
Mental health is about how we think, feel and behave. Anxiety and depression are the most common mental health problems.
This training programme is designed to enable both HR and staff to
understand and recognise mental health problems in the workplace by understanding:
Attitudes to mental health and associated stigma
The legal responsibilities at work on how to recognise and address mental health issues.
How to promote a healthy, non-discriminatory working environment.
